Back in the late 60's Larry built the motor for my Speedster.  Absolutely bullet-proof.  But what is more important is that he was one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet.  Go quickly, Larry!

Condolences, Marilyn.  Larry was a much-admired Porsche race driver and mechanic.  Besides being an E Production champion in his Speedster, he was the go-to guy around Boulder for 356 parts and service.  In 1972 he was my first driving instructor, showing me how to get the 912 around the Aspen track smoothly.  I also recall going to his personal driving school at Mead--in my Vanagon!  At that time he was racing a Volvo sedan in SCCA, and we drove that, too.  I admired him because he never let his disability get in the way.  Besides, he was a genuine nice guy, always friendly, modest, and helpful. Godspeed, Larry!
