Kirk James Ferguson

Kirk James Ferguson, 62, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his children, on June 1, 2024. Born on May 26, 1962, Kirk lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family and community.

Kirk proudly served his country in the United States Army, embodying the values of duty, honor, and courage. After his military service, he transitioned to civilian life as a skilled general contractor. Kirk founded and successfully operated Kirk Ferguson Construction, Incorporated, a testament to his hard work, expertise, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Kirk is survived by his son, Kirk "Ryan" Ferguson, and his children, Kieran and Willow, and by his daughter, Ashely Ferguson (Rafael Nunez), and their children, Julian and Xander. He is also survived by his siblings, Steve (Lisa), Debbi (Jim), Kevin, Lance (Jennifer), and Kelly, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Ferguson, and father, Eugene Ferguson.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. No public service will be held at this time. He will be placed to rest in a honorable and private ceremony in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado at a later date. Cremation entrusted to Resthaven Funeral Home.
