Joseph Richard Scarpino

Joseph Richard Scarpino 68yo passed away on April 18, 2023 at home in Loveland, Colorado. He was born in Hollywood, Florida on March 15, 1955 to Frank and Marie Scarpino. He attended Hollywood Hills High School in Hollywood, Florida.

He is pre-deceased by his wife of 19 years Katherine Andree Sudwisher. He is survived by Katherine’s sons Nicholas Habetz (Kristin), Mitchel Habetz (Sukhi), sisters Connie Johnson (Jim), Mary Ann Scarpino (Bob) and niece Catherine Barkley (Rob).

Joseph worked as an AutoCAD design technology technician since 1991 and truly loved his work as it matched his talents that he lovingly shared with others, often having a positive influence on young people in his life. He worked in the commercial sign business in South Florida, Orlando, Florida, Las Vegas, NV and later in Denver Colorado for many years. He designed, constructed and installed his designs. He was also a talented woodworker who could build “anything”.

He was an avid RC Boat racer and was the owner of JRS Innovations where he used CNC to manufacture High End R/C Hydroplane Racing boat/accessory stands. He was a member of the boat racing association NAMBA District 20.

He and his loving wife and family enjoyed being in the Rocky Mountains and Estes Park where they would often go sightseeing. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joseph may you and Kate be together forever peacefully resting in God’s loving hands.
