Joe was a successful entrepreneur and businessman in the access control industry. He enjoyed his exotic cars, and boats. He dabbled in woodworking and, after moving to Colorado in 2022, tried his hand at fly fishing. He was well traveled, both nationally and internationally.
He loved his family. He took great pride in his son, Joe, daughter-in-law Nikki, granddaughters Rachel and Audrey, and grandson, Anthony. Not a day went by that he didn’t show his wife Dawn how very much he loved and cherished her.
Joe led a life filled with experiences, adventures and love. Though he was a successful man and proud of what he had achieved, he never let his ego lead. He was a gentleman and a true friend. Joe was content with quiet but ready to listen with a keen, genuine interest. He was a class act.
Joe will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of more than 31 years, Dawn Costa; his sons Joe (Nikki) and Tony; grandchildren, Rachel, Anthony, and Audrey; sister Christine Hill (Cy), and by his brother Tom (Tracy).
Services will be held at on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens. Those that wish to see Joe and say their final goodbyes may do so at 1pm. His Funeral Service will take place at 1:30pm, after which he will be laid to rest. Please join Joe's family, following the services, for a Celebration of Life Gathering and a time of fellowship, laughter, and remembrance. A light luncheon will be served.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions are encouraged in Joe's memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or the Small Choices Foundation. Should you wish to send flowers, Rowes Flowers in Loveland is the preferred florist. Treasured memories of Joe and words of condolence for his family are welcome at resthavencolorado.com.
