Glenda Drue Seitz

Glenda Seitz, 73 of Fort Collins, Colorado went to be with her Lord on June 23, 2020. Glenda was born in Powers Lake, North Dakota to Lawrence and Olive Maxine Bacon. Glenda attended Brea Olinda High School and graduated in 1964. On June 12, 1980, she married her best friend and soul mate, Dennis Seitz. They shared an amazing 40 years of love and laughter. Glenda’s greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren. She loved every moment she spent with them. Glenda also enjoyed writing poetry, playing on her tablet, watching “my soaps” and of course, shopping! Glenda had thirteen brothers and sisters that she loved dearly.

Glenda also loved her friends that she made throughout her lifetime. They were all like family to her. Glenda was the best daughter, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sibling, and friend that you could ever hope for. She will be remembered for her unconditional love, a wicked sense of humor, and fierce loyalty.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Pam Viles, Kevin Bacon, Faye Moore, Bud Bacon, Carroll Reichstien and Mary Hallowell.

Glenda will continue to be honored by her husband Dennis Seitz; children Brooke Moats (Tommy), Laura Spear (Sean), Mark Seitz (Martha); siblings Darlene Bacon, Sandra Cantrell, Stein Bacon, Bruce Bacon, Beverly Bird, Shirley Ibach, and Donelda Vincent; great-grandchildren Crystal, Madalynn, Noel, Sydney, Samantha, Haley, Parker, Karissa, Caden, Cole and Tanner; and great-grandchildren Emma Cruz, Andrew, and Angel.

Instead of flowers, donations can be made to Pathways of Northern Colorado in Fort Collins, Colorado. They lovingly cared for Glenda for two years and the family is forever grateful for their care, love, and support.
