Erin was born in Denver, Colorado on June 2nd, 1958, the only daughter born to Beverly (Gardner) and William Sullivan. She had two brothers, Patrick & Kelly. When Erin was a baby, her family lived in the small mining village of Climax, Colorado. They then moved to Denver where Erin grew up and completed her schooling. She participated in ROTC, which she enjoyed very much. She was always such a happy child. She was funny and friendly. She was such a sweetheart, always.
For 21 years, Erin worked for the Department of Defense in Denver. She was highly intelligent where political matters were concerned. Politics just made sense to her. She loved attending conventions with her brother, Patrick, whether it be Comic Con or Star Con and she was an autograph hound! She had so many in her collection. She really liked all things SciFy.
Erin was active in her community. She was a member of Job’s Daughters, and regularly volunteered for the Humane Society. Erin LOVED animals. Her father was a charter member of the El Jebel Pipe Band, founded in Denver, and Erin was their most devoted fan, following them for over 40 years. Erin’s faith in God was unwavering. She loved to read her bible, she loved the Lord, and she knew that life eternal was waiting for her. Her sweet and gentle spirit will be remembered by all those who knew her. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Erin is survived by her mother Beverly Sullivan, her brother Patrick Sullivan, and her brother Kelly Sullivan, his wife Carol, and their daughter Ashley, and by her beloved pup, Kaley. She is greeted in Heaven by her father William Sullivan and by her other beloved pup, Patches.
A Memorial Service will be held for Erin at 11am on Monday, December 16th at Faith Church in Fort Collins, followed by a light reception. She will be laid to rest at 2pm on the same day at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Fort Collins.
