Donna Fay Hunsberger

Our lives lost a loving soul on Sunday February 9, 2020, when Donna Fay Hunsberger accepted her angel wings under the care of her husband, Jeff, sister Kathy, and son Dylan. She fought a hard battle up to the end, continuing to work each day even while sick until she could do it no more.

Donna was born on January 4, 1960 in Mesa, Arizona to Anna and Merle Glaspie. She was the baby of the family, with older siblings Kathy and Merle.

Donna is survived by her husband Jeff, son Dylan, sister Kathy (Ed) Spites, brother Merle, stepchildren Bryan Hunsberger (finance Hana) of Longmont, Brittany (Kyle) Olsen of Green River, Utah, and grandchildren KayLynne, Kinley, Lauren, and Braxton, as well as a new grandchild due in August.

Donna was blessed with a large family when she met and married Jeff 12 years ago. Her parents in love, Bud and Bev Barr, sisters and brother in laws, Randy Crawford, Linda and Dick Lorenzen, Steve and Cris Veteto, Mike Hunsberger, Roger (Butch) and Deb Hunsberger as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister in law Beth Glaspie, a niece Kindra, and a nephew Preston.

Donna loved gardening, traveling, camping, trips on the Harley, her cats, Colorado summers and Arizona winters. She worked for the US Postal Service for 10 years, both in Arizona and Colorado. She and Jeff moved back to Colorado in 2015. She was working for Hospital Carriers Corporation as a lab courier until the time of her death.

Funeral services will be held on February 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home 8426 US-287, Fort Collins, Colorado. After the service, family and friends are invited to meet at Crossroads Church, 5420 N Taft Ave, Loveland, CO at 1:00 for a time of sharing and refreshments.
