Mom had an incredible ability to see the very best with whom she came in contact. She made you feel special with her warm smile and kind words. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh which made others feel comfortable and at ease. One of Donna’s proudest moments was when she was the Matron of Honor with Eastern Star. Through the years Donna volunteered at Trinity Lutheran Church and was even the executive secretary for Sky Ranch youth camp. Fortunately for the family she spent her lifetime caring for us and giving us love, hope, and kindness. We will never forget the delicious crust she made when baking apple pie or how she made spaghetti, or homemade pizza, or beef tips and gravy over noodles and cherry torte, the list of delicious meals made with love and butter could go on forever. I remember the care she would take to set the table for lunch, taking pride in the service with love and genuine respect for whomever was her guest. It is these little details that made her so special. Mother you are the best part of us all. We love you and you will be missed.
