Debbie Cromer

Debbie was born in West Plains, Missouri on March 17,1956 to David "Frank" Franklin Sexton and Sharlet Vesta Lamb. She had three brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her husband Jack, her two children Jason (Nicole), and Justin (Miranda), and her four grandchildren, Aria, Viviana, Kaydance and Quincy. She is also survived by her mother, Sharlet Sexton, three siblings, Danny Sexton (Kathy), Jeannie McGaughey (Dusty), and Joe Sexton (Donna); and by her sister-in-law, Sherry Folkemer Thomas, as well as many other extended family. Debbie was preceded in death by her brother Larry Sexton, and by her father, Frank Sexton.

Debbie’s pride and joy was her family. She adored spending time with her children and their families. She especially loved times when her family and friends would all come together to share in food, fun, and laughter at the annual Cromer Fish Fry. These were truly the most precious of times to her! She also loved to travel, share fond memories and stories, make holiday fudge with her girls, and cook mashed potatoes for all her devoted mashed potato fans…all the while sipping on her beloved fountain Coca-Cola. Debbie had a great love for driving, even if it was for the sole fact that she thought no one could drive as well as her. Debbie worked at Universal Forest Products for over 20 years; long enough for them to have to remodel the kitchen to keep up with her. When she was not at work or in the kitchen, she liked spending her time beating the house at Central City.

A Funeral Service will be held for Debbie on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 11:00 am at Resthaven Funeral Home in Fort Collins, Colorado. Those that wish to pay their final respects and say goodbye are invited to a Viewing one hour before. Debbie will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memory Gardens at 12:00 pm. Following her Graveside Service will be a Gathering of Family and Friends. A light lunch will be provided.
