Carolyn was born in Roanoke, VA on January 17th, 1958 to loving parents, Fraizer and Evelyn (Trail) Spangler. She grew up in a fun household, especially with having a twin sister around. Carolyn worked hard to support her family. She was a factory worker for most of her life, retiring from Plastics One (P1 Technologies). She was a mother to two wonderful children, Charles and Candy.
Carolyn was an awesome mom and grandma. She loved all of her family dearly, but she really loved her Boo (her granddaughter). She was also a good sister and truly a great friend to everyone she met. She never knew a stranger. Carolyn was such a giving person and was always kind and so generous. She was an exceptional person all the way around. She was also a strong and determined woman who would not be trifled with. She would be the best kind of friend to everyone until you got on her bad side. Carolyn loved spending time with her family and friends. Her family was her life. She did also very much enjoy the trip she took to Hawaii.
Carolyn’s children will fondly remember their mother’s incredible sense of humor. There wasn’t anything in this world that could get Carolyn Sue down. She was so lighthearted, not taking herself or this earthly life too seriously. She was not an old woman when death came knocking at her door but even so, she kept her spirits about her and was joking and laughing as long as she had breath in her. Her laughter would light up any room and can still be heard echoing down from heaven.
If ever there was an angel on earth, it was Carolyn Sue Moore. The world was just a better brighter place with her in it. She continues to be dearly loved and will be missed every day.
Carolyn will live on in the hearts and memories of her dear family and all those who knew her. Carrying on her legacy of love and laughter are her children, Charles Moore (Krystine) and Candy Jackson (Stephen), and her dear sweet granddaughter, her Boo, Kiana Jackson. She will also be missed by her twin sister, Connie Neal (Ronnie “Big Bird” Palmer), her three bonus grandkids and five great-grands, and by her grand-dogs, Milo & Vader, who will miss her very much. She was greeted at the pearly gates by her parents, Fraizer & Evelyn Spangler, her brother Jerry Spangler and his wife, Carolyn, and by her sister, Dreama Garrett.
A private memorial service took place in Colorado, where she resided at the time of her passing.
