

Carol was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who touched the lives of many with her genuine kindness, love of nature, devotion to her family, friends and her community. She grew up in Montrose, Colorado and Boulder, Colorado with her family, and pursued gymnastics, basketball and other athletic adventures. She also attended Colorado Mountain College and was part of the Outward Bound program. In the early 90s, she moved to Loveland with her young daughter where she met her soon to be husband and love of her life, Jim Venrick. They soon had their son and moved to a beautiful home out in the countryside with a small farm.
She will be remembered for her warm genuine smile, kindness, selflessness, her beautiful vegetable and flower gardens and always putting her family first.
She is survived by daughter Corissa, son Colton (Sonia), grandchildren Rose and Noah, and brother Larry. She was predeceased by her parents Marvin and Barbara, her husband James, and her loving grandparents Albert and Inez.
Carol will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew her.
A Graveside Service will be held for Carol and she will be placed to rest with Jim on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Fort Collins.
