Brian Timothy Sullivan passed away at his home in Fort Collins, CO on April 24th, 2015. Brian fought courageously against his drug addiction. He lost that struggle last Friday, but is now encircled by the Light of the Unconditional Love of his own Higher Power.
Brian was born on April 29, 1980 in Long Branch, New Jersey and resided in Avon, NJ until 1992. Brian graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. He was working for Allied Roofing at the time of his passing. Brian especially enjoyed reading military stories and history. He had a smile for everyone he met and would assist anyone in need. Brian loved life because he loved his friends and because his friends loved him. His positive and upbeat attitude uplifted all who met him. It was said that Brian knew no enemies. His acceptance was unconditional for all.
His wish would be to carry his joy for life in your hearts and spread it to your own friends and family. The family thanks the many stories and photos shared with us in our own time of sorrow.
He is survived by his father, Dan Sullivan and his wife Jill of La Quinta, CA, mother, Jana Sullivan, brother, Kevin Sullivan of Fort Collins, sister, Christine Sullivan Devlin and her husband, Kevin, of Neptune City, NJ. He was an uncle to his beloved niece and nephew Mia and Kevin, Jr. and is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family invites his friends to join them in a Celebration of his Life on earth....as he transitions into the birth of his new life. A visitation will be held from 3-9 pm Wednesday, April 29th (Brian’s 35th Birthday) at Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO.
