Sean Raymond Gerdau

Sean Raymond Gerdau passed away tragically on August 19, 2019. He was born on September 17, 1996 to Jim and Tammy Gerdau at Holy Rosary Medical Center in Ontario, Orgeon. He spent his life in Fruitland, Idaho where he graduated from high school in 2015. He was a very caring person who always put others first and was always kind and considerate of others. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

As a child Sean loved running through the fields catching bugs and the occasional snake with which he would scare the life out of his mother. He loved animals, especially dogs, and playing with the family dachshunds would always get him smiling and laughing. Sean enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing and camping in the mountains.

He was preceded in death by his mother Tammy Gerdau and is survived by his father Jim Gerdau, brother Michael Gerdau, and sister Breanne Valentine.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm, Friday August 30th at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in Payette, followed by a luncheon at Fruitland downtown park.
