Margaret Rusty Jane Soboleski

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Riverton United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Roberson officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester.

Mrs. Soboleski was born in Butler, PA on August 26, 1923 a daughter of the late Harley and Katherine Johnson Rust. She was a Registered Nurse. After graduating from Spencer Hospital School of Nursing, Rusty took a position with her alma mater Fredonia High School. After a few years as school nurse she took a nursing position in Juneau, AK where she met her husband, married and began her family. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, golf, skiing, playing bridge and especially traveling. She was a very compassionate and caring person. She attended Riverton United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Soboleski is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joseph Nicholas Soboleski; her sons, Christopher Joseph Soboleski of Fernley, NV and Paul Edward Soboleski of Kennewick, WA; her daughter, Julie Lynn Soboleski of Manassas; her sister, Norma Jean Keverline of Greenville, PA; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Chau Soboleski and Elaina Wexni Soboleski.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Soboleski was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelia JoAnne Soboleski in 1988.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Soboleski, Paul Soboleski, Walter Moyer, Allen Derflinger, Cleveland Jewett, and Greg Black
