Evelyn Jordan departed this earth on August 4, 2016. Evelyn was the daughter of the late Mary Virginia Roberts. Evelyn was preceded in death by her brothers, William (June) Roberts, Jr., and Roger Roberts, Sr. Evelyn lived in Flint Hill until her adult life. Over 60 years ago she made her home in Harrisburg, PA.
Evelyn’s hobbies were reading and listening to the music of her generation. Whenever she talked about the Lord she would say “Thank you my heavenly Father.”
Evelyn departed this life at the Colonial Park Care Center in Harrisburg, PA. She spent her final year in friendly acquaintance with the staff and residents there. They enjoyed her joyful smile and laughter.
She leaves to share her precious memories, a caring niece, Cheryl Jordan; devoted cousins, Arthur Jackson and Melvin Jordan; sister-in-law Louise Pendleton; nieces, Gwendolyn Sheppard, Frances Taulton, Regina Williams, Mary Washington, and Cheryl King; nephews, Roger Roberts, Jr., Keith Roberts and Jonathan Roberts; and a host of cousins.
