Carwell Carter Jr.

Carwell Carter, Jr., passed way peacefully on Wednesday October 4, 2017 at his home. He was born March 11, 1937 in the Plains, VA to the late Carwell Carter Sr., and Audrey Corum. He was preceded in death by his love, Eva Herrell, his son, John Carter and his sister, Virginia Carter.

He loved spending time with his son and grandchildren. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed working on things mechanically. He enjoyed the times sipping on his favorite brew and telling stories about the good ole days, sitting by the fire.

He spoke highly of those he worked with and enjoyed their company.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Douglas W. Carter, Sr., (Carol) of Bealeton; his daughters, Gloria Carter of Bealeton and Doris Carter of Warrenton; his brother, George Carter of Warrenton; his sister, Annie Carter of Warrenton; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
