Albert Charles Peck

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home with Reverend James Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester, with military honors.

Mr. Peck was born in Front Royal on May 18, 1947 a son of the late Leo Bruce Peck, Sr., and Marie Davis Edwards. He was a self-employed painter and carpenter. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was proud to have served his country as a Marine in Viet Nam.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Peck of Charles Town, WV; his daughters, Mary Ann Murray and husband Arnay of Manassas, Rebecca Peck of Front Royal and Jane Marie Peck of Stanley; his brothers, Leo Peck, Jr., John Peck, Raymond Peck, Greg Peck, and Frank Peck; his sister Alice Hoffman; his grandchildren, Charles Peck, Josh Peck, Angel Peck, Jessica Murray, Arnay Murray, Jr., Nathaniel Murray, Anthony Peck, Jonathan Peck, Wayne Peck and Jayden Peck; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Peck was preceded in death by his son, Albert Charles Peck, III.

Pallbearers will be Josh Peck, Charles Peck, Arnay Murray, Jr., Nathaniel Murray, Leo Peck, III, and Peanut Tharpe. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Henry, John Peck, Greg Peck, David Franklin, Buddy Deavers, and Eddie Holloway

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
