Virginia Carmella Davis

On June 26, 2023, with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Virginia C. Davis who was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched. Virginia was born on April 29, 1931 to Concetta & Frank Fazio. She graduated from Waller High school in 1949. She began her career at Illinois Bell & ended her employment at Chicago Lock Company as a receptionist/switchboard operator. She was a valued employee. But her greatest accomplishment as a single mother was raising her daughter Michele and providing for her and her grandson Justin who was the joy of her life. “To know her was to love her”!!

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Michele Wankovsky (Larry), grandson, Justin Wankovsky (Amanda), great grandsons Ethan Wankovsky, Kyle Wankovsky, step grandsons Jason Wankovsky (Roseanne), Joshua Wankovsky (Christina), nephew, James Patrasso, nieces Jennifer Patrasso Smith (Jason), Kimberlee Patrasso, Laura Patrasso, great nieces Skylar Smith, Kaelyn Smith, and cousin Lee Patenaude. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a Alzheimer’s organization.

A celebration of life funeral service for Virginia will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Stonebriar Funeral Home, 10375 Preston Rd., Frisco, Texas 75034.
