I spent some time in the US about 7 years ago with AT&T, and Vic was my contact in Atlanta for a week.
He was such a great bloke! Looked after me and my colleagues every day, and Vic and i spent a lot of time (probably too much) chatting about cars! 
We worked on a number of projects and accounts since then, and i always felt very lucky to have met him in person! 

Such sad news to hear of his passing, he will be sorely missed, something that i am certain of after reading the memories being shared here. 

Dear Deja, Marianna & Sebastian. My deepest condolences on the death of Vic. I met Vic for the first time in Reston, VA. Ramani had just started working with him & they both came on a business trip. He wasn’t much older than Marianna. We had a great time & I loved Vic’s sense of humor & kindness. He was a great friend to my sister. Love to all of you. So happy I got to talk to him at length at Shivani’s wedding.

Victor spent tireless hours helping to build a cultural event at St Francis. This was a passion that incorporated all his priorities. God was at the center of the project with a heavy dose of family and friends thrown in for good measure. 

He understood the the three “F’s” (Faith, Family and Fellowship). He kept them in the right order and lived a life not just talking about making our world better, but taking action to leave us all a little better for having known him. 

Vic will be missed by us left behind. I can see him right now helping God plan the next big thing. Miss you my friend.

Cuando recibí las noticias que falleció Vic (mi jefecito como yo lo llamaba), me dolió, pero se que él está mejor sin dolor y con Nuestro Señor. Cuando él venía a Charlotte, hablábamos mucho sobre nuestras familias y religión. Él nunca será olvidado. Que en paz descanse mi jefecito. Que Dios le de la fuerza a usted y a su familia.

The world is much worse off for having lost you Victor.    No one can take away the sadness I feel in my heart for having lost my dear friend but I will never forget how infectious your zest for life was and how you inspired everyone around you.   I think you just added even more sunshine to heaven.

I had the privilege to be part of Vic’s team for the past few years. Vic was a very respectful and honest gentleman with a great sense of humor. He sincerely cared about every member of his team and always treated everyone with the utmost respect. Besides his great work advices, he would always find time to talk about personal matters. I’ll never forget our conversations about our native countries, his travels to Colombia, and the 2018 World Cup and how much pride he had in his beloved national soccer team when they defeated my native team. I will cherish all the great memories and will keep you in my prayers.  
May you feel God’s grace and mercy, knowing that Vic is now in the loving arms of God!

A couple of years ago we reconnect during a peer training circle and I was able to get to know him on a more personal level.  I feel very lucky to have had that opportunity.  He will be greatly missed.

Hello Deyanira,

    My sincerest condolences to you and your family.   We've never met; I'm a colleague of your late husband's and live in Montreal.  I met him 4 years ago when he interviewed and hired me as a Service Manager.   Over the last few years, he was like a father figure to me (even though we are about the same age) and was always there when I needed help.  He watched over me from afar and gave me the confidence to strive , be the best I could be.   I had the privilege of meeting him in person two years ago when I traveled to Dallas to  celebrate Thanksgiving with my sister.  We talked about life, how he loved sports and fast cars.  He treated me like family and was very open about his condition.  He knew he had a tough road ahead but his positive attitude is what struck me the most.  We meet many people in a lifetime, but there are only a handful that we remember.  Vic was one to remember, he was a great man.   May his memory bless you and keep you looking up in the sky whenever you need him.  Take care.

Mi querida Deya, sabemos que adoramos a un Dios misericordioso, y que también el está sufriendo al ver su dolor, pero también confiamos que este solo es un paso a la próxima etapa, donde Víctor se nos adelantó para construir su próxima casa ya en en el cielo donde una ves más se reunirán.
