Terry Chris Lee, age 72, passed away July 17, 2014 in Plano, Texas. He was born on January 27, 1942 in Tacoma, Washington to Carl and Rosemary Lee. Terry was a retired veteran who joined the U.S. Navy where he worked as a Jet Engineer Mechanic for 8 years, then serving as a Flight Engineer and Instructor for 14 years in the U.S. Air Force. Terry also served three tours of duty in the Vietnam War. Upon retiring from the Air Force, Terry went into the Civil Service, managing the Auto Hobby Shop at Altus Air Force Base, Altus, Oklahoma.
Left to cherish his memories are his devoted wife of 45 years, Janice (Wong) Lee of Frisco, Texas; daughter, Jennifer and husband, Myron Schram of Park City, Utah; son, Bryan and wife, Erika Lee of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Jordyn Schram, Carlee Schram, Gunnar Schram, Tessa Lee, and Avery Lee; brothers, Joel Lee of Frisco, Texas; Michael Lee and wife, Vickie of Albany, Oregon; Glenn Lee of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Terry is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Rosemary Lee; grandson, Hunter Schram; and brother, Don Lee.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished “Papa” to his family, and will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 11:30 am at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Lane C will be the assigned lane for the service.
