Steven Robert Nothem II

Officer Nothem was a veteran who honorably served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps. It was while serving at Camp Pendleton, CA, where he met and married his beautiful wife Cristl. Upon his discharge, Steve went to school in Utah, where he received his degree in Criminal Justice. He then went on to complete police academy and served four years with the Grand Chute, Wisconsin Police Department. In 2020, Steve and his family relocated to Texas, where he served with the Carrollton Police Department for nearly three years.

Even in death he has continued to serve others by being an organ donor. Steve will forever be remembered for his compassion, integrity, and his profound love of his family and friends

Steve is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Cristl Leigh and their four precious children; Samuel Lee, Carter Mathias, Logan Robert and Sadie Grace.

A public visitation is planned for Wednesday, October 26, 2022, 7pm to 9pm at Stonebriar Funeral Home located at 10375 Preston Blvd., Frisco, TX 75033. A funeral service for Steve will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W Park Blvd, Plano, Texas 75093, followed by a private processional and burial.
