Stanley Wade Carman, 67, of Carrollton, TX passed away suddenly on May 30, 2023. He will be remembered as a hardworking husband, father, and grandfather. As a vascular disease and cancer survivor, he had overcome the most difficult physical challenges.
Stan was raised in Mason City, Iowa and attended Iowa State University before moving from the Midwest with his wife Cindy. He worked tirelessly for the past 40 years at his career in architectural and interior design in Dallas and various other cities. His passion for his profession and creating unique properties and developments was respected by many and will be a part of his legacy. In his personal time, he loved cars, a cold can of Coke, had a dry sense of humor, a knack for fixing things, and would always go out of his way to lend a helping hand. But most of all, Stan was along for the ride during family shenanigans. He will be greatly missed by many.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Cynthia Christian-Carman of Carrollton, TX; his daughter, Chelsey Carman and son-in-law Scott of Frisco, TX; his grandchildren Chloe, Christian, Jordyn, and Jacob and his siblings Paul, Phil, Doug, and Mary.
Plans for a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Interment at Davenport Memorial Park, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to make a donation to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in Stanley’s name.
