Scott Stephen Coppolino, age 50, passed away on June 9, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. Scott was born on May 5, 1969, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, to parents Dominic Coppolino and Jane Laurence. After moving to Plano, Texas in 1983, Scott graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1987. He went on to study business and graduated from the University of North Texas in 1992, with a degree in Business Administration. Scott focused his career in the finance industry for the past 27 years, most recently with Bank of Montreal.
Scott dedicated his life to his family and cherished his son, Anthony. He was a loving father and husband who valued time at home with his close family and friends. Scott was a generous friend who loved to cook for other people and share his love of grilling and barbecue. He was a man of quiet and strong faith who loved others with a servant's heart and loved the Lord with all his might.
Scott is preceded in death by his father, Dominic Coppolino. He is survived by his wife, Lora Coppolino, his son, Anthony Coppolino, his mother, Jane Laurence, his brother Michael Coppolino, and his grandmother, Helen Laurence.
A celebration of Scott’s life will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 2:00 pm, at Prestoncrest Church of Christ in Dallas, Texas. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Dyslexia Foundation (www.dyslexiafoundation.org).
