Sandi was born on September 1, 1948, to Joseph and Nelda Eggers of Jackson, MO. Sandi graduated from Southeast Missouri State University, with a major in Elementary Education. She went on to teach elementary school in both Missouri and Texas, where she shaped countless young minds, throughout a 29 year career.
While attending SEMO, Sandi met her husband, Joseph “Joe” Miller and the two were married on June 5, 1971. Joe and Sandi lived in many states, but the majority of their marriage was spent living in Spring, Texas where they raised their two daughters, Heather and Becca.
Sandi was a lifelong educator that enjoyed gardening, yoga, traveling and volunteering at the local elementary library, as well as her church. She served on many committees in the women’s ministry at First Frisco Global Methodist Church and most recently served as President of the Silver Sombrero Sisters.
The last year, Sandi traveled to many new places, most notably was a Mediterranean cruise through Spain and Italy to celebrate her 75th birthday with her close friend and companion, Pete Graham.
Sandi was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 49 years, Joe Miller, and her sister, Martha Skinner of Jackson, Missouri.
She is survived by her daughters Heather (Scott) Crow of Leander, TX, and Becca (Don) Stutsman of Frisco, TX; her four grandchildren: Audrey and Colin Crow of Leander, TX, and granddaughters Laine and Emily Stutsman, of Frisco, TX.
A celebration of life will be held at First Frisco Global Methodist Church, on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Sandi will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her giving spirit and love for her grandchildren will be forever cherished by her family.
