Robert Leigh Moyle

Robert Leigh Moyle, age 40, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. He was born on June 2, 1982 in St. Peters, Missouri to Michael and Martha Moyle. He attended The Principia School in Town and Country, Missouri through his high school graduation in 2000. He met the love of his life, Janet Ledford, on April 7, 2001 and the two have been inseparable since. They attended Southern Methodist University together, where Rob graduated in 2004 and Janet two years later in 2006. They got married on September 30, 2006 at Perkins Chapel at SMU and embarked on the life they always dreamed of creating together. Rob immediately pursued a career in property tax consulting, which is where he realized his love for real estate. Rob then led and developed numerous real estate projects throughout the DFW area for the last 8 years with his innate entrepreneurial mindset. More importantly, he was a devoted husband to Janet and father to his children, Katelyn and Brayden. They all valued their quality time together which consisted of Rob’s constant love, dance moves, humor, and sympathetic ear.

Rob is survived by his wife, Janet Ledford Moyle; his daughter, Katelyn Nicole Moyle (13); his son, Brayden Robert Moyle (10); his mother, Martha Moyle (Cliff); his sister, Amber Moyle Boyle (Jim); his brother, Austin Blake Moyle (Fiona); his grandmother, Helen Frances Tennyson Moyle; his mother-in-law, Wanda Gouge Ledford; his sister-in-law, Jennifer Ledford Bentley (Robert); and his niece and nephews, Alexander (11), Sebastian (9), Kalia (8), Zachary (6), and Peter (2). He was predeceased by his father, Michael Kevin Moyle; his grandfathers, Donald Leigh Moyle and Robert Richard Knickmeyer; his grandmother, Mary Lee Longhofer Knickmeyer; and his father-in-law, Randall Delane Ledford.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 2nd at 11:00am at St. Andrew Methodist Church, 5801 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, Texas, where he was a member. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Rob’s memory to Beacon of Light at www.beaconoflightmh.org. Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services served the family in Frisco, Texas. Rob will be laid to rest at St. Andrew Methodist Church Good Shepherd Meditation Garden and Columbarium.
