Rebecca "Becky" Adams

After graduation from high school, Becky went to the University of Nebraska and met her future husband, Gene. They were married in Rock Island, moved to Texas in 1969 and lived in Garland, Texas for over 30 years. After moving to Frisco Lakes, she remained active in local community affairs.

Becky loved her children and grandchildren deeply and always had a smile for them. She loved to play April Fool’s jokes on them and dearly loved playing bridge and Mah Jongg with friends and neighbors at Frisco Lakes.

She is survived by the love of her life, Gene Adams, her husband of 54 years and was looking forward to celebrating their 55th Anniversary in August, daughter Stephanie Laura Ferguson, husband Kenneth Ferguson, grandson William and granddaughters Lauren and Kate of Frisco, and son, Mark William Adams, wife Ally, and grandsons Patrick, Harrison, and Benjamin of Dallas. In addition, sister Cyndy Anderson, husband Jerrell plus brother Richard Anderson and wife MaryAnn.

A celebration of life will be held at Stonebriar Funeral Home 10375 Preston Road in Frisco, on August 5, 2021 at 11 AM. Inurnment will be at First Presbyterian Church of Dallas at a later date.

The family respectfully requests no flowers. Memorial donations may be made to Frisco Family Services, North Texas Food Bank, and Little Elm or The Colony Animal Shelters.
