Though we lived a great distance apart, my aunt Pris would always greet my wife and kids with great kindness and affection.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Our prayers are with her and your family.

Pris, Priscilla. I always wanted to call her  Priscilla but she did not allow me to do it.
- Why, I asked ? It is  such a nice name?
- It reminds me of my childhood, because my father called me Priscilla when I did something wrong.
- That was not that often! You were a good girl.
- Not always ...
- I can not  imagine that .
Priscilla was a very nice lady , always smiled, she was a very positive person and very generous beyond expectations.
I loved to go shopping with her to the Chinese store or select new eye lashes.  Who is going to help me with it now ?
I never played golf, but I was always included in her annual Golfer’s Christmas Party.
With Priscilla gone, life will not be the same anymore. I miss you already, my dear friend.

God took her, my mother because for a long time heaven had waited for the return of one of her most beautiful angels.  Her embraces are now wings and her heart is the brightest star on the horizon.        I’ll be missed you forever.                                           With love Cris 🙏💖💐

Pris was such a presence and such a generous person. So glad I had the opportunity to co-chair Hole-In-One with her for a few years and hear all the stories of her life, family and experiences. Even though I moved out of the area for several years now I still think of her when on the golf course and how much fun it was. Wishing John and family peace and comfort.

Honestly, I have no words.  Lola Pris was like a second mother to me and a second grandmother to my children always showering us with love, laughs, food, gifts every holiday and loads of advice.  Her laugh was infectious and time talking with her was always entertaining!  Living next door to John and Pris for the last 17 years has been wonderful.  Our family will miss Lola Pris very much.  Prayers for the rest of the Schaefer family.

I met and spent time getting to know Lola Pris during the ridgeview ranch playgroup.  She cared so much about all the kids in the group, and the moms. She was quick to dispense loving advice and opinions to all the moms and invite us into her home.  During my second pregnancy and baby shower she showed so much affection to me and my family.   A strong , brave and amazing lady - she gave so much  of herself to her community.  We will miss you, Lola Pris,   My sympathies to the Schaefer and extended family. 

John, I'm truly sorry for Pris's passing.  My condolences to you and to all that knew her.  I vividly remember  you and  Prissing welcoming me to your home when I first moved  to the East Coast.  You both saved me a lot of  worry about my marital status at the time.  As you may know, Pris and I go a long, long ways back.  I was the brother  (son) the San Luis family didn't have in a family of girls for a long time.  I'm very thankful for your help and forbearance and that we met, however briefly.  Take care john and be safe!

I met Pris through Newcomers Golf.  She did not want to let anyone play through us or rush us as we paid our money just like they did!! 
 I always got such a kick out of her.  Pris was always entertaining with lots of stories to tell.  She graciously hosted our group's Christmas Party for several years and shared her favorite recipes.  Pris was such a giving and interesting person.  My condolences to her family.

My heart is broken over the loss of my oldest sister, Ate. I have so many memories to share but one that stands out is picking her up at the Airport during one of her yearly trips to Va. I thought she had missed her flight since she did not exit the plane. After about 30 min I noticed she was coming from another direction with a stranger laughing like they knew one another. She said she got lost and the gentleman had helped her find me. She always made a friend wherever she went. She wasn’t shy when meeting strangers and I experienced how generous her heart was when someone was in need. She told me many times, “the little things you can do for people, God sees your heart and he will bless you” I know my sister is walking with the Lord and our Dad, Mom, Let, Ricky and Roy met her to take her home. I will always miss you but feel comfort in knowing we will see each other again my Ate. Love you, Mary Ann

John and Family.   we are so sorry to hear of pris's passing. 

 We met Pris and John at saturday  mass soon after we moved here.  Pris sat next to Ron and they enjoyed many chats during mass.  She always said he was her brother and I was her sister.  We enjoyed taking her and John to their first estate sale.  She was a great cook and had us over for dinner a couple of times.  We enjoyed her sticky rice for dessert.  We will miss her.

Sending my love and prayers to you all. It sadden me to hear that I just lost another sister, my Ate/Pris. There is so much memories of Ate and my other sisters growing up. As my oldest sister she was always there for me and always had a sense  of humor. Remebering the time we shared an apartment while living in Alexandria, Va.  The time when she, John and Michael stayed at my house for a few days while waiting to leave for Thailand, and so much more fond memories. During her visits here in Virginia was always a happy and fun times to be with her sisters.
Ate, although the years has been difficult not seeing and the occasional phone calls, I often thought about you.

, Janet and Boys...    Words can’t express how i am very sad in the loss of my sister Pris/Ate.    I’m the the youngest of the six girls and Ate was the oldest and together with our sister Carmelita  (who passed away 5 yrs ago) were like my mother.   They both took care of me  when I was little, walking me on the beach so I could be cure of asthma .   Which worked , ocean sea salty    air cures it!!       I will miss you Ate , calling you was all I could do  to see you in my mind  or Facebook .  I will miss our phone calls.   I love  you with all my heart and will never get over the fact that you won’t be here for me to talk to you again or see you again.    I still have my plane ticket from when I was going to surprise you on your birthday  last  March , but then Covid hit and I couldn’t come.     I was  planning to come this year again    But now I can’t   Except to see and say good by one last time

Ate' was a force of nature.  One of her favorite stories involved her fake eyelashes and the ensuing spider kills attempted in the wee morning hours.  Then her uncharacteristic laugh would echo off every hard surface!   The story ended with a crescendo of her grabbing your shoulders and hugging you while still laughing!   

My first cross country flight was to Calif for Christmas when I was 16.  She worked at the jewelry store then and gave me a snazzy watch and freshwater pearls.  Uncle John, Mike and Scottie took me sight seeing in SF--most precious memories.  She made everything perfect---we laughed, watched movies, ate and laughed some more.  Sending my love to Uncle John.   Mike, Janet, Terry, Mel, Kim and all the grandchildren--you're in my prayers.

While I have many fond memories with Aunt Pris, one that jumps out at me was at my graduation from grad school. Always in fashion, she was sure that I had not accessorized enough for the celebration and insisted that I take her bracelet to wear, instead of the old one I had on. Of course, she wouldn’t take no for an answer and gave me a big hug and a kiss as I put her bracelet on!

Pris created some delightful memories for me and her golfing group of many years.  She would often take the whole group for lunch, and always had very interesting and funny stories to tell.  I will remember her for her cheerfulness and generosity.
