     Paul and I were co-workers . We shared many laughs and good times over the past fifty years .. He was a good friend and I will miss him . Please know that I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Paul.  I met him while working in the Rocky Hill CT Office of Northeast Utilities.   It was a pleasure to be in his company, always a gentlemen, possessed a great spirit and was an impeccable dresser.  Always carry the sweet and tender memories you have of Paul close to your heart and know that you will see him one day again in a beautiful place called Paradise.

Your father was one of my favorites. He will always be remembered as one of the coolest dads on the planet. He taught me all about “The Doors” and how Not to fall out of a mini van. He will be in your heart always, and probably already sending you messages that he’s much better off!

A very sad time.  Paul & I met as 10 year olds, living on the same block in Evansville, IN.   Attended grade and high school together.  Joined the Navy the same time.  Love of music, I'll say!  As high school students, we saw the Four Lads & Mills Brothers, then later during Navy years at Great Lakes, went to Chicago to see Joni James & Theresa Brewer.  Great times - great friend.

When I was VP of Northeast Utilities, I was given the opportunity to work alongside Paul and was able to witness first hand his strong leadership and dedication. We shared many good times together that will never be forgotten.  Paul will be greatly missed and I will have all of his family members in my prayers.

It was such sad news to hear of Paul's passing.  I worked for him in Labor Relations & HR for 10 years at WMECO-NU.  He was a larger than life type of guy, who I respected, and I will miss our annual birthday calls.  Bobby Knight just lost one of his biggest fans!

More than sad to hear of Paul's passing. We worked, played and laughed together for many years in Labor Relations at Northeast Utilities. Trips to the BIG EAST Basketball Tournaments in NYC will always be remembered. Paul will be missed but not forgotten.

To the Barr family - words cannot express how sad I am to read of Paul’s passing.  I worked with Paul for many years at NU.   He spoke so often of his children and was such a proud father.  We shared a lot of laughs and our love of the NY Yankees, and I know Mickey is named after Mickey Mantle!  I heard so many stories of his service to our great country, his love of music and life. My heart is broken upon hearing the news of Paul's passing.  We became friends at NU in the early 1970s and then worked together in Labor Relations for many years.  Paul was a wonderful, caring, loving man and his loss is devastating to all who knew and loved him.
