Pamela “Pam” Eve Banks, age 62, of Frisco, Texas passed away on February 26, 2022 after a sudden illness. Pam was born on July 13, 1959, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Robert Chester and Dorothy “Dot” Eve Welch Banks.
Pam grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas, but most recently resided in Frisco, Texas. Pam was retired and enjoyed spending her time her dog(s) and traveling with friends and loved ones. She loved life and lived BIG!
Pam Banks…well, she was just that…Pam Banks. There will never be another. She was so lovable and generous. Whether pet or person, she was there to serve. She even had “stairs” for frogs that fell into her pool. She would say, “whether rabbit or frog, they have to have a way out.” If a person was struggling, she would get creative and work to help to resolve the struggle. Her generosity knew no bounds. She was Pam Banks, and there will never be another.
Pam is survived by her many “fans….” From the valet in Maui, the waitress at The Olive Garden, the pool cleaner, the fish feeder, the hair dresser, the store clerks, her family and friends…She was Pam Banks and there will never be another. We are grateful to have had a front row seat to her adventurous life.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Chester Banks in 2006 and Dorothy “Dot” Eve Welch Banks in 2019. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gary Wayne Banks in 2003.
A public funeral service will be held at Stonebriar Funeral Home, 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, Texas, at 2 PM on Friday, March 4, 2022, with Sammy Gardner officiating. Burial will be on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches, Texas.
