Oscar Daniel Acevedo passed from this life on to his eternal home with his family at his bedside on September 21, 2018 at his home in Frisco, Texas. Oscar was born on November 27, 1940 to his parents, Juan Delfin Acevedo and Rosa Magdelina Pistone in Villa Maria, Argentina. Oscar grew up with his twin sister, Mirta Tejeda. He was a happy and active child.
Oscar spent two years in the Argentine Air Force and was a licensed pilot. He worked in the alarm service industry for nearly 40 years. Oscar retired when he received the young age of 62.
Family and friends recall Oscar as a loving, caring individual who loved to play soccer and golf. He was known as a jokester and a very playful person.
Oscar was preceded in death by his father, Juan Delfin Acevedo; his mother, Rosa Magdelina Pistone; his nephew, Miguel Singh; and his niece, Lillian Singh. His legacy and memory will live on through his beloved wife, Paula “PJ” Acevedo of Little Elm, TX; his daughter and her husband, Sylvia and Robert Wirtz of Ft. Worth, TX; his son and his wife, Daniel and Mariah Acevedo of Little Elm, TX; his step-daughter and her husband, Lisa and Cam Glennie of Erie, PA; his step-son and his wife, Daniel and Melissa Dotterer of Virginia Beach, VA; and especially through his five grandchildren; Mason Jefferies, Nicolas Wirtz, Sophia Wirtz, Issabella Wirtz and Benjamin Wirtz.
Oscar was loved while he was with us here on earth, and will continue to be loved through time and all eternity. He will be missed!
