Nikki Renae DiBella, age 53, of Prosper, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Nikki was born November 16, 1968 in Aurora, IL. She was raised in Michigan (and considered herself a lifelong Michigander) before moving to North Texas.
Nikki loved all things fitness and spent her free time teaching cycle and yoga classes at Lifetime Fitness where she met the love of her life Louis DiBella. They married in 2008, and eventually created a successful real estate business together known as The Dibella Team. Nikki was an animal lover to her core which led to their loved and spoiled fur baby family-- Hurley, Cookie, Buck, Buster, Taz, and Kitty.
To know Nikki was to love her. She was joy. Pure, open, exuberant, overflowing joy. She loved life and she loved her friends well. She was competitive and pushed those around her to do more, but in a way that celebrated the wins of all. She was the best encourager, whether it was to push harder in her cycle class or to try new things. Because of this she had multiple “tribes”—yoga, cycle, real estate, and volunteer organizations that she loved—and she was constantly working to blend her tribes, to help connect people who she just knew needed to know each other. Across the community are those connected simply because of Nikki. You never doubted where you stood with Nikki. She made sure you knew—through her actions, her handwritten notes, and through her constant support of others.
Nikki was the life of any room or party she entered. She loved music with an eclectic musical taste knowing every word from Usher and Eminem to praise and worship songs. Nikki also loved dancing and was the first person on any dance floor and the last person off. If there was no dance floor, she created one and drew others to celebrate with her. And perhaps that is what described Nikki most. She created the things she wanted for herself and for her husband Louis and brought others into her joy and celebration. If Nikki wanted to do something, she was all in-- her husband, her fur babies, her family, her friends, her work, her fitness—she lived life at full speed because she knew no other way to live. We should all live like Nikki lived.
Nikki is preceded in death by her daddy Larry Norris and her brother Scott Norris. She is survived by her loving husband Louis, her mother Joyce Norris, her brothers Patrick and Russ, along with their families and countless friends who will miss her dearly.
A celebration of life for Nikki will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Hope Fellowship Frisco East, 9950 Rolater Rd, Frisco, TX 75035. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation made in her honor to either the SPCA of Texas or the Treasured Vessels Foundation.
