In 2004 he graduated from Frisco High School and went on to attend Sam Houston State University and Collin College Culinary School.
As a child, Michael loved crafts and playing sports. He was quiet and shy, always willing to help others, and felt a great sense of pride when doing community service work. He was very proud of his Korean heritage and enjoyed all the culture camps he attended with his family. Michael loved to fish! He taught all of his cousins how to bait the hook and his favorite place to be was anywhere that involved fishing! Michael also loved to cook. He particularly enjoyed creating sauces. He was interested in drawing and had a unique style. He also enjoyed watching all types of movies. Michael was an avid soccer and hockey fan and loved to watch the games with his Dad. He and his sister were first in line to see new movies and enjoyed that time together very much.
Michael worked at several local food service restaurants; Rudy’s BBQ, Einstein Bagels, Pei Wei and most recently at Kidzania in Frisco. He was an RCIA sponsor and served on many ACTS retreats through the Catholic Church.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and Maryann Stewart of Frisco, Texas; brother, Aaron Stewart of Plano, Texas; and sister, Julia Stewart of Frisco, Texas.
Michael was loved while here with us on earth, and will continue to be loved through time and all eternity.
