Michael Hernandez

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Hernandez on July 8, 2024, at the age of 49. Michael was born April 7,1975 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Amador and Naomi (Cantu) Hernandez Jr.

Michael was raised in Arlington, Texas where he attended school, was active in many sports, and graduated high school. After high school Michael pursued a degree from Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas. Soon after receiving his degree, Michael chose to become an entrepreneur. He owned a successful Tanning and Beauty Salon in Mansfield, Texas and recently attended classes to become HVAC certified and started an HVAC company. Michael loved working on his hot rods and enjoyed making improvements to anything with a motor and wheels. Michael also had an affection for Bulldogs and especially loved his two, Rocky and Ralphie.

Michael never married, has no children, and is predeceased by his father Amador Hernandez Jr. Michael is survived by immediate family members, mother and stepfather Naomi and James Hallmark, brother Amador (Sonny) Hernandez III and family, sister Amanda Hernandez and family, brother Steve Hallmark and family, and he is survived by numerous loving uncles, aunts, nieces, a nephew and several cousins.

Michael will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his love of people, kind spirit and unselfish willingness to help and mentor others. May we find some peace in knowing Michael loved God and knew our Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.

A celebration of life visitation for Michael will be held Friday, July 19,2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75033, followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 PM.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to Our Daily Bread, Carter Blood Bank or a charity of your choice.
