Michael Lynn Dennis

Mike was born in Dallas, Texas on October 22, 1942 to Bessie and Ted Dennis. He graduated in 1960 from Hillcrest High School where he was active in the music department. Later, he received a degree in art from Southern Methodist University. While at SMU, Mike became a member of the PI KAPPA ALPHA fraternity. He continued his studies at the Art Center College of Design in California. Needless to say, Mike had a lifetime love of art and music.

For over 33 years, Mike worked in the creative design field at Bloom Advertising and McCann Erickson. He was an accomplished pianist and was also a member of the choir at Preston Hollow Presbyterian for over 10 years. Mike was an avid runner, participating in numerous marathons including the New York and San Francisco Marathon. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Bessie Dennis.

He will be missed terribly by his surviving family; Daughters, Sarah (Tom) Dennis Murray, Laura (Billy) Dennis Forbes; Son, Jeffrey (Michelle) Dennis; Grandchildren, Andrew (Yeonsoo Seo) Willis, Cole Murray, Caitlin (James) Murray Findley, Corbin Dennis, Caleb Dennis; Sister, Jill (Richard) Dennis Bowles; Nephews, John (Julie) Bowles, Stephen (Carly) Bowles, Michael Bowles, Chris Bowles; and many extended family and friends.
