Margaret grew up in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Sunset High School in 1962. She eventually moved to Duncanville, Texas and raised her son, Medric, as a devoted single mother. She worked for the Department of Defense and proudly retired after 34 years.
As a polio survivor, Margaret spent most of her life living with this disability, but it never slowed her down. She was larger than life, always had an infectious big laugh, a bright smile that would light up a room and never knew a stranger. She was fun-loving, kind, overly generous and always loved hosting gatherings of friends and family. A beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and a friend to many. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, loved watching old movies, doing crossword puzzles and finding new recipes to try. However, her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandson, Dylan.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Lertie McKinney and her sister, Betty Nell McKinney.
She is survived by her son, Medric Bradley and his wife Kirsta of Lewisville, Texas;
grandson, Dylan Bradley of Lewisville, Texas; brother, Jim McKinney of Lynchburg, Virginia; and many extended family and friends.
A private burial will be at a later time.
Family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in her name to a charity of your choice.
