Husband and father of two boys, Marc, 41, used his story of living with a terminal disease as a way to share his faith with others. He was an inspiration to many as a Christ follower and advocate for curing Lung Cancer.
He had a tremendous passion for finding a cure for lung cancer and increasing awareness about a disease that is the leading cancer killer in both men and women in the US. He helped raise more than $15,000 for lung cancer research and was determined to remove the smoker stigma attached to those battling lung cancer.
Marc was Vice President of Customer Development and Operations at CROSSMARK where he worked for 13 years. He had an outstanding work ethic and drive to succeed. He prided himself on mentoring others and seeing their success.
Marc is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Adrienna Rapp; sons, Bailey Purcell and Landon Rapp; father and mother, Bill and Ginnie Rapp; brothers, Bill Rapp and Rod Rapp; sisters, Gail Millholland, Cheryl Goldner and Nancy Mosteller and a host of nieces and nephews.
The public memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Preston Trail Community Church, 8055 Independence Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75035. A reception at the Rapp residence will follow the memorial service.
