It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lillian Magali Carrasquillo on September 28, 2024, at the age of 91. She lived a long and meaningful life and her kindness and resilience was inspiring to everyone who knew her.
Lillian graduated with a degree in Home Economics with a passion that allowed her to nurture her family and community in many ways before getting married. She was a dedicated military wife to Eli Sr. and supported him throughout his 22 years of service which included several tours of duty all over the world. Together they shared 67 years of love and countless memories. His passing two years ago weighed heavily on her heart and we rejoice in knowing they are reunited in heaven.
As a loving mother of three, Gloria (deceased 2013), Vivian, and Eli Jr., she devoted herself to their lives. She also worked as a teacher and as a Patient Activities Director at a nursing home. Her faith in God was passed down and continues to grow in her children and grandchildren.
As a woman of many talents, Lillian loved playing piano and filled her home with music, singing and whistling. She faithfully read her bible and carried it with her everywhere she went. She loved Puerto Rico and her heritage was a great source of pride.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Eli Sr., and daughter, Gloria. She is survived by her daughter Vivian, her son Eli Jr., and her 10 grandchildren, Pedro Eli, Kandia, Pedro Isaac, Michael, David, Matthew, Daniel, Ian, Gavin, and Camren. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of family, love, laughter, faith, and strength along with many cherished memories from those she encountered along the way. Her influence and heart will be dearly missed.
A graveside service to be held Friday, October 4, 2024, 2pm at Ridgeview West Memorial Park located at 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, TX 75033. The funeral procession will leave Stonebriar Funeral Home at 1:30pm.
