Kelvin graduated from McKinney Boyd High School in 2021, a former football player and everyone’s favorite goofball. To know him was to love him. At his core, he embodied loyalty, strength, and camaraderie. His laugh and smile could light up any room. Whether his connection to a person was new or grew over the years, his impact was profound.
Kelvin spent a lot of his life moving from place to place and making the best of friends along the way. He has a huge family that resides in Denton, Texas where he spent about 2 years of his life back and forth. While Kelvin was younger, he and his family moved several times within Collin County including Plano, Allen, and they finally settled and ended up staying put in McKinney. Growing up in McKinney, he managed to develop many great bonds with his childhood friends, oh, they were not any friends, but friends of loyalty and brotherhood. He grew up with them for 10+ years and together they made so many memories. He loved McKinney and the friendships and recollections that came with it, and also meeting the love of his life. Kelvin also enjoyed spending his life around his mother, Axa, his father, David, his brother, David, his sister-in-law, Taylor, and significant other.
He thrived in the garage working on his muscle cars and driving them all around North Texas. Kelvin's escape was chasing an adrenaline rush. Connecting with like-minded car enthusiasts who encouraged his need for speed. Not only did he uniquely design his dream machines, but he also lent a hand to anyone who needed it. His work ethic did not go unnoticed as he spent his career at the dealership working for the company he loved. For Kelvin, clocking out meant heading to the shop and spending time with his boys. Time was no object to Kelvin, at the end of the day he went home to be a foundation to his parents; and to his true love, he provided a refuge. He expressed his love through acts of service with no questions asked. Kelvin held a heart full of compassion, always a phone call away. Unapologetically himself; never afraid of others’ opinions.
