Jane Patton Hadden, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 surrounded by her family. Born on May 13, 1932, in Hope, Arkansas, she was the daughter of David and Jane Patton of Lewisville, Arkansas.
Jane graduated from Lewisville High School in 1950 and went on to attend the University of Arkansas, where she was a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and a spirited cheerleader. She graduated in 1954 and soon after married the love of her life, Don H. Hadden, also of Lewisville. Together, they built a beautiful life and celebrated 70 years of marriage filled with devotion, laughter, and shared memories.
Jane and Don raised three sons: David H. Hadden (Pam), Michael L. Hadden (Barbara), and Thomas W. Hadden (Kim).
She was a cherished "Gran" to her grandchildren: Matt Hadden of Denver, Colorado; Lyndi and Robert Amos of Midlothian, Texas; Taylor Hadden of Dallas, Texas; Dorsey and JD Thomas of Plano, Texas; Travis and Marielle Hadden of Plano, Texas; Hailey and Matt Holeman of Austin, Texas; and Kinsey and Kyler Blank of Wichita, Kansas. Cory and Mike Stoll of Henderson TN. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, with one more on the way—each of whom brought her tremendous joy.
Jane’s heart for service was most evident in her 25+ years of volunteering at Children's Hospital of Dallas, where she lovingly rocked countless babies in post-surgical recovery. Her calm presence and nurturing spirit touched many lives and left a lasting imprint on all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jane’s memory to Children’s Hospital of Dallas.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Dallas - Ft. Worth National Cemetery
