Mr. Frank Frank Vines

Daniel Frank Vines went to be with his Lord and Saviour on January 25, 2015. He was born on September 20,1930 in Dalhart, Texas to Daniel Dee and Juanita Vines. Frank at an earlier age overcame debilitating bone disease. He was a Golden Glove Boxing Champion during his early years.

Frank came from a poverty background and with work ethics and diligence he raised himself and his family to be successful in everything that they do.

Frank Married Barbara L. Abernethy on December 2, 1949. He was a Loving Husband, Father and grandfather.

Frank worked in the construction industry as a Custom Home Builder. He was well respected and recognized home builder. One of seven original builders that helped develop Plano. He was respected by his customers, subcontractors, and financial institutions. They knew his word was as good as any contract.

Frank's greatest joy was his 4 daughters and 11 grandchildren. Frank was an active member of Waterview Church of Christ since 1969.

Frank enjoyed gardening, cattle and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors are his Wife of 65 years Barbara, 4 Daughters: Cheryl Vines Husband Keith Phillips, Cyndee Herrin and Husband Billy, Deborah Vines and Brenda Dunn and Husband Jim. 11 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 27th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Stonebriar Funeral Home, 10375 Preston Road, Frisco.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Waterview Church of Christ 14096 N. Waterview Drive, Richardson, Texas.
