Edna was graced with the nickname “Dink” by her father and her name Edna was inspired by a midwife. She grew up in Western Australia with three older sisters and attended school through the 8th grade at which time she began to work in various places. As a young woman, a chance meeting with a handsome sailor would change her life forever and she was married on March 18, 1947. Throughout the years, she was blessed with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her family became the center of her world. Edna understood the value of family and the precious moments spent with the ones you love and she was an active mother and grandmother who loved to get out and play with the children. Being a mother was the most important job she ever had and in addition to that role she also worked in the small family business. Edna was also a member of the Canton Seventh Day Adventist Church in Canton, Ohio. She had a place in her heart for all of God’s creations including animals, flowers and nature. Edna enjoyed many things in life including traveling, shopping, oil painting, writing poetry and good food. She enjoyed making people laugh and inspired kindness and honesty in everyone who knew her. Edna also held a very close relationship with God and she was a model for the power of prayer and the strength found in faith. Three words that would properly illustrate the life of Edna “Dink” Morris would be Faithful, Fun Filled and Successful. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Stonebriar Funeral Home located at 10375 Preston Road in Frisco, TX 75034. A house is just a building
We come to, whence we roam
But love can make it “special”
And then we call it Home.
