David B. Mock, age 63, of Temple, Texas passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at Medical City Dallas in Dallas, TX. He was born in Morocco, Africa on May 27, 1957 to James and Leola Mock. David graduated from Temple High School in 1975 and married his high school sweet heart, Deborah in 1976. He and Deborah have two daughters: Jennifer and Ashley. In 2021 Deborah and David would have celebrated 45 years of marriage.
David served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the service in 1996 with military honors. After his military service, David worked in Physical Therapy and retired at the age of 62.
David thoroughly enjoyed life. His favorite past times were golfing, rooting on the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his family. He resided in Texas most of his life with a brief tour in England. He will be remembered as a loving, genuine, kind-hearted gentleman. He always greeted you with his handsome smile. David was a hard worker and always had to keep himself busy. He was generous and always the first to help anyone who needed it. He was loved by all who crossed paths with him.
David is survived by his wife, Deborah; daughters, Ashley Mock and Jennifer Young; father, James Mock; brother, Bruce Mock; and sister, Melissa Jennings; and grandson, Harrison.
The memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th, at 2 PM Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco Texas.
