Blayne came into this world on March 17, 2024 at 1:06 pm as a micro premature baby, fighting for her life at 24 weeks. She was a miracle baby at 15.8 oz. and 10 in long.
During her brief time in the NICU, she enjoyed hearing her parents’ voices, holding mommy, daddy, and close family members’ fingers, having her head softly rubbed, Aquaphor rubbed on her legs (actually Aquaphor anywhere made her eyebrows raise). She also enjoyed the special times she was able to be held by her parents, listening to Disney Classical music, and hearing her Godmother Kaitlin’s daily encouragement of “being a big girl”, and “doing so good”. During her last week she had actually begun to smile a little.
Her hobbies included kicking her leg out of the blanket. Sometimes it was full-on both legs out, “rotisserie chicken-leg style” her mommy would say. She also enjoyed forcing her arms out of the blanket to grab anything near her face; any chance she got to suck on her fingers; opening her eyes just enough for you to see her giving her famous “side-eye” toward you; and of course, getting the nurse’s attention just to let them know she loved them, because they were her special handpicked care team.
To be fair and provide a complete picture, her dislikes were being baby talked to, bright lights, being on her back, having her temperature taken, and most of all, other loud tenants near her crib that just wouldn’t be quiet.
God saw how much everyone needed this tiny Angel for a few short weeks. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting this sweet baby girl surely experienced pure joy from her. She was loved by many.
She is the beloved daughter of Taylor Cooper and Dennier Tippens, the Granddaughter of Angela Hale, Scott Cooper and Patricia Rupe, and Brian and Josette Tippens. She is a Great Granddaughter of Freida Carter, Paul and Jean Thrash, Rose Demand, Joseph James, Cynthia Tippens, Jeannie Bradford, and Ed and Dana Minnis. She is a niece of Aunts Kaitlin, Amber, Taylor, Brittany and Lauren and of Uncles Jalen and Allen. She is the tiny cousin of Emma, Kylee, and twins Autumn and Ty.
Blayne is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins of Taylor and Dennier; and last, but certainly not least, her NICU Care Team at Medical City Plano.
Blayne was met in Heaven by her Uncle Dave, Uncle Michael, Great Papa Marty, Great Grandpa John, Great-Great Papa Harold, Great Grandpa Allen and Great Grandma Claudine.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting stuffed animals that will be donated to a charitable organization in Blayne’s memory.
