Beverly Ann Blue

Beverly “Bev” Ann Blue of Frisco, Texas passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, October 28, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born on February 22, 1947 in Denver, Colorado to Elizabeth (Kingsley) and Dalbert Miller.

She graduated from Garden Grove High School in Garden Grove, CA. She married her high school sweetheart, James Blue on August 23,1965 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Beverly spent over 20 years traveling and living overseas with her family while her husband worked in the oil industry. Bev enjoyed spending time with her family and attending movies with her husband. Beverly was consistently in attendance at any sporting or major event for her children and grandchildren. Beverly was an active member of the Prestonwood Newcomers in which she held several positions on the board. Beverly also enjoyed hosting her Mahjong and Canasta groups during the holidays. She also enjoyed crafting and creating items, especially for the holidays. Beverly’s legacy will be remembered in the lives of her children and grandchildren, who she took great pride and joy.

She is survived by her husband, James Blue (Frisco, Texas); her children Christy Eckrote (Mike) and Mike Blue (Jody); sister Donna Jones (Charles); and her grandchildren Jordan Eckrote, McKenzie Hambleton (Carter), Rachel Eckrote, Trace Blue and James Eckrote.

A memorial service (Celebration of Life Service) will be held on November 18th at 2 pm at Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas.
