Zackary “Zack” Flores was born on January 23, 1997, in Hanford, California. Zack was such a fun, loving, energetic young boy, who loved to read, play with Legos and video games. He always enjoyed celebrating his birthday, as a child he would always have a birthday party and surround himself with family & friends. Zack had the most beautiful smile. He was so smart and enjoyed his young days playing soccer, mastering every video game and hanging out with his family. At the age of 10, he found his love for football. He played every fall and became a really good lineman. He received many academic awards as a young child and many football awards as a teen. Zack was part of the 2014 USA U-17 Football team. He traveled to Texas to play in an International Bowl. He had a great love for football. Zack loved sports; he could talk about Football & Baseball all day. Always watching ESPN and The Herd. His teams were San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants and later became a Sacramento Kings Fan.
Zack always knew he was going to college. In the spring of 2015, he decided he was going to go to CSU Sacramento. With the support of his family, he made his move. He was confident in himself that he was going to make this his home away from home. As he moved into the dorms his first year, he met his roommate Jarett “JT” Manber. Zack knew immediately he was going to be ok because the moment he shook his hand he knew he had met his best friend. Zack Zito was the new guy on this large campus. Everywhere he walked, his smile lit up the room. He would meet new people and became their friend instantly. He was a brother in the PI Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He met some amazing people during his college years. His major was Business Finance.
After finishing school in May 2020, he decided to stay in the Sacramento Area. He worked at Pursuit Promotional Management, Costco and in 2021 found his career starting at Mechanics Bank Corporate Office in Roseville, California.
Zack was a very humble young man. He always made sure you knew he was present in a conversation he was having with you. He was kind, loving and a generous soul. He had a strong Catholic Faith. He found comfort visiting his parents and sister. G4 would spend the weekend together laughing, eating, shopping and just hanging out. He loved family holidays, it was a special time because he was able to see his Grandparents, Godparents, Tios, Tias and his cousins. He had the honor of becoming a Godparent to his beautiful goddaughter Isabelle Gomez and his handsome godson Jackson Pierce.
Zack loved his life. He always laughed and smiled. He brought so much joy to everyone that knew him. He had a love for working out. He recently became the face of the Paying DueZ family. He would work out everyday with his friends. They created this saying “DueZ Paid” in DueZville, California, it became his lifestyle that he shared so passionately with his friends. This Season in his life brought him so much happiness.
On July 3, 2023, at the age of 26, Zack went with God. On that day True Happiness was shining throughout the sky. He is survived by his parents Fred and Trisha Flores-Galvan and his sister Amaya Galvan all known as G4. His grandparents Manuel and Frances Flores and many family members.
The loving and Infectious, Beautiful Smile Zack would share with everyone will carry on. If you knew Zack you knew he lived his life to the fullest, packed so much in his 26 years here on earth. He left an impact on so many. Zackary will always be in our hearts. His legacy will live on forever. We hope that you will cherish each moment, each memory with Zack close to your heart and know he is watching over you and will continue to help you each time you ask.
