She was born in DeKalb, Illinois to Robert Tomlinson
and Helen Stein. She married Luchen Benton on April 29, 1961.
She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends,
watching Westerns and old tv shows, loved having holiday dinners for the family.
She is survived by her husband Luchen Benton with whom she was married for 62 years.
Sons, Louie Benton of Clovis, Steve Benton (Judy) of Sanger, Ronald Benton (Janice) of Clovis.
Brothers, Robert Tomlinson (Joan) of Genoa Illinois, Thomas Tomlinson (Lynette) of Genoa Illinois, Jerry Stein of Fresno CA, Sister Cathy Boruschewitz (Leo) of Winter Haven Florida, 4 granddaughters, many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Tomlinson and Helen Stein, brother Bill Tomlinson and infant brother.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday September 27,2023 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Funeraria Del Angel Fresno 475 North Broadway, Fresno CA 93701.
A graveside service will take place Thursday September 28, 2023
at 12:00PM at Clovis Cemetery District, 305 N. Villa Ave.
