In life, she was an avid reader and writer; she loved to sketch and draw, and was the "Picture lady" for the local elementary school district in Hinsdale, Illinois where she raised her family; she loved all things English; she collected miniature doll houses; she played classical guitar, lute and the recorder, and she taught guitar lessons; she loved to travel and spend time in Door County, Wisconsin. Those who knew her often commented on her sweet spirit and the courage with which she lived her life.
Ginny is survived by her only son, Allen and his wife, Karen; by her granddaughters, Abby and Amy; by two nieces, Betsy and her husband Ken Hood and Catherine Croxson; and a nephew, Jim and his wife Rhonda Croxson; and by a host of friends too numerous to list.
Her Memorial Service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at 11:00 a.m.
Memorials may be directed to Nancy Hinds Hospice or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Arrangements under the direction of Stephens & Bean Funeral Chapel, Fresno, CA.
