Valentin Tovar

Valentin passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the age of 87. He was a flagman for Santa Fe Railroad for 20 years. He is prceded in death by his parents and a son Valentin Tovar Jr.

Valentin is survived by his children Gloria Villanueva; Ralph Tovar and his wife Nancy; Linda Martinez and her husband Blas and Alex Tovar; a sister Francis Baca of Porterville and two brothers, Polo Tovar and his wife Francis and Tony Tovar all of Bakersfield. Valentin is also survived by 11 grandchildren their spouses and 17 great grandchildren, Edward Villanueva and Arlene Arroyo and their children Daniel, Raylene, Andrew, Averi, Edward Jr. and Tony; Sophia Vasquez and her husband Gabriel and their children Averi, Romeo and Diego; Jennifer Garcia and her husband Steven and their children Persephanie and Steven Jr.; Michele Tovar, Ralph Tovar, Jr. and his children Jordan and Jeremiah; Randy Tovar and his wife J.P. and their children Jenica, Jacob and Jade; Ronnie Tovar; Anthony Tovar and his son Evan; Alex Tovar, Jr., Michael Tovar and Vincent Tovar.
