Twila Joyce Oaxaca, age 85, of Georgetown, KY, wife of William R. Oaxaca, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at her home. She was born on April 21, 1930, in St. Francis, KS, and daughter of the late William and Emma Cook Fross.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons; and a daughter.
In addition to her husband, Twila is survived by three sons, Randy C. Whaley of California, William M. Whaley and his wife Vanessa of Carlisle, KY, Curtis A. Whaley and his wife Mildred of Paris; a step-daughter, Denice M. Oaxaca of California; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grand-children.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to Hinds Hospice.
