Theresa was born in Angelus, Kansas, on March 24, 1939, daughter to Stephen and Rose Horvath. She attended Marymount College in Salina, Kansas, and graduated with her Nursing license. After college she moved to San Francisco, California. Theresa met the love of her life, Ron, in 1961 and they were married in October of 1963. As a family, they lived in Fresno, California. Theresa and Ron celebrated 60 years of marriage last October.
Theresa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved her family and their pets her whole life. As a strong Catholic, her faith guided her in everything she did. She loved to travel and was a lifelong learner. As a dedicated Registered Nurse, (46 years), and a mom, she was a constant healer for everyone and everything around her.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings Rosy, Johnny, Mary Ann and Steve. She is survived by her loving husband, Ron, her children and their spouses, Michelle (Joseph), Tom (Nancy), Wendy (Brad) and her 3 granddaughters, Kira, Anastasia and Wren. Theresa has two nephews, Gary and Dale Miller and Dale’s family (Alison), Danielle and Nicole.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on June 29, 2024, at 10:30 am at the Nazareth House Chapel, 2121 N. First St., Fresno, CA, 93703.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nazareth House.
